Let my photography tell your story…
I have been crafting my photography skills since I was twelve years old when I purchased my first instamatic camera. I was fairly certain this is what I wanted to invest in because I used my Mom's box cameras for a couple of years before I saved enough cash for the first camera! After that I began using 35mm cameras for several years and switched to digital cameras and now I use Nikon equipment today. I began photographing weddings, special events and portraits in the late 1970s and continue to offer these services today along with additional services for corporate and non-wedding events, private and public events throughout New York State and New England. My work has been used by Trudeau Institute, Paul Smith’s College and other mission driven organizations. I have donated printed work to charitable causes in the Adirondacks over the past fourteen years. My passions are photography and mission-driven organizations. For the past twenty-six years I have worked at private universities and colleges (Brandeis University, University of Miami, and Paul Smith’s College) as a health services researcher and as a senior administrator. Currently, when I'm not photographing an event, I am a senior administrator in the president's office at Trudeau Institute, a biomedical research center in the Adirondack Park of New York State. I was raised in Croghan, New York and then Mom moved us to Woodville, New York. After graduating from Belleville Central School in 1973, I lived in Newton, Massachusetts where I graduated from Mount Ida College in 1975. I returned to Northern New York State until 1984, then I packed up my Toyota and returned to Boston for the next eighteen years to work and photograph. I completed three additional degrees during this time period: A Bachelor Science in Business (SUNY non-traditional program), Master in Management of Human Services and a Master in Business Administration (both from the Heller School at Brandeis University). I am a breast cancer survivor and currently reside in Saranac Lake, New York.
